Weary and worn out

If all the holiday activities have left you weary and worn out, then look at the words of wisdom in Proverbs 30. There is One who ascended to heaven to atone for us by the healing of our sin sickness. He come down to earth to create a new and living way. Jesus Christ the Lord has been named both Savior and Lord. God’s word is true and records the historical significance of this earth-shattering event. – Teresa #hecamefromheaventoearth #mydebtopay

Proverbs 30:1-6 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Words of Agur

30 The words of Agur son of Jakeh. The oracle.[a]

The man declares, I am weary, O God;

I am weary, O God, and worn out.[b]

Surely I am too stupid to be a man.

I have not the understanding of a man.

I have not learned wisdom,

nor have I knowledge of the Holy One.

Who has ascended to heaven and come down?

Who has gathered the wind in his fists?

Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment?

Who has established all the ends of the earth?

What is his name, and what is his son’s name?

    Surely you know!

5 Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

6 Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar. – Proverbs 30:1-6

Hebrews 10:19-23 (ESV)

19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,

20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,

21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:19-23
