We watch as the hummingbirds and finches take “showers” and “dips” in our new fountain- simply enjoying the beauty of life as they know it!

When Jesus glorified the Father- by accomplishing His work on earth, He then prayed for the Father to glorify Him-by bringing Him back to heaven. It was the joy of remembering the glory of heaven that helped Jesus bear the shame of the cross.

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. – Hebrews 12:1-2 (ESV)

Who is the founder and perfecter of our faith? The One who conquered sin’s curse- aka eternal separation from the Father. He is the One who was victorious over the sting of the grave.

54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Glory divine is manifest by remembering it’s not my good works but His finished work on the cross that matters most.
